The Item Upgrader in World of Warcraft
The War Within introduced two gear upgrade currencies, Valorstones and Harbinger Crests. These currencies can be exchanged at the item upgrader NPCs, Cuzolth and Vaskarn.
More hints can be upgraded to its highest level for a specific slot once. Then, upgrades to that slot will be less expensive. The pity system, which was introduced with The War Within, also reduces the extreme variance in upgrades.
Upgrades
In gaming upgrades are the replacements of components that increase performance or offer new capabilities. Upgrades can be earned or purchased in a variety of ways like in-game events or cash shop items.

As opposed to enchantments that can be incorporated into any item, upgrades are tied to specific items and can only be used on those items. A weapon that is already equipped will not have an upgrade applied. However, certain items can be upgraded several times, bringing more benefit to the owner of the item.
Upgrades are a relatively new mechanic introduced in patch 4.1.0. The upgrade system allows players to add additional enhancements to equipment to increase its power, ranging from a simple boost in strength to major damage and defense increases. The upgrades are split into tracks, and each has limitations on the amount of upgrades that can be completed. These limits are intended to stop players from going through low-keystone dungeons, and then upgrading their gear all the way up.
Upgradeable gear includes weapons, armor and consumables. The majority of gear is upgraded after it drops. However, certain items (such Ornn's equipment, or the infant Dracolich) aren't upgradeable. The gear can be upgraded by purchasing an upgrade recipe from the vendor and then combining it with the item that is in the appropriate upgrade slot. The icon of the item or searching for it in the shop will reveal the number of upgrades that item of gear is equipped with.
The upgrade system has two major drawbacks. The first is that it can be difficult to identify which items are upgradeable, since the upgrade vendors don't always show all of them. The upgrade textures are created over the model which hides enchantment information and other details.
Another disadvantage is that upgrades are costly. Each step up an item's upgrade level costs a certain amount of Valorstones and crests, depending on the slot of the item and item level. Weapons, for instance require more Valorstones and crests to upgrade. There are, however, a few cash shop items that can help lower the cost of upgrading.
Recycles
Many people are changing their buying habits as they become more conscious of the environmental impacts of products that are only used once. Certain people are buying high-quality items that last longer or recycle their old gadgets in search of a solution. Many people are choosing to purchase recycled products and seek the highest recycled content when making purchases. This will hopefully reduce the amount of resources needed to create and extract new materials, as well as create a more sustainable world.
Recycling is an integral element of this process and it is now easier for consumers to locate. Many items, including furniture and paper have a recycled component to them. This means they're made from recycled or scrap materials, and it's easy to purchase recycled items online or in stores. In addition to helping the environment they are also more affordable than the alternatives.
As an item progresses in it will receive additional bonuses in addition to the main stat increase. These bonuses are based on the tier, and can vary from one kind of bonus to another. The ones who have higher tiers will receive more bonuses than those who have lower levels.
More companies are committing to creating products that are greener as the global economy shifts away from extraction of resources and towards reusing and recyclating. Many are focused on recycling materials and providing incentives to customers who recycle their products. In the near future, it's likely that we'll see even more recycled items on the shelves and in the stores, as the demand for sustainable products rises.
Rerolls
In Genshin Impact - or any gacha game for that matter Rerolling is an essential tool. It lets players re-try their chances of obtaining an item or character that they either prefer to have for aesthetic reasons or simply because they think that it would fit well on their team.
Rerolls allow players to refresh items available for the current waves in exchange for a small quantity of materials. The costs of these weapons increase as the number of rerolls per a row increases, though some items may not be offered in any way (for example, a melee weapon will not be available for players who can only use ranged weapons).
As an item increases in stats it enters the Staple Pool where it gains additional bonuses. These are based on the nature of the item it is. For instance, an upgrade that boosts the main stat of a weapon can also boost its secondary stat. If the item is rerolled the extras will be altered.
If a player has the ability to reroll, they can click a button with arrows circling to swap their item out to another. This new item has the same level, but different bonuses based on the type of item it was, such as a sword, book, or watch.
Rerolling an item doesn't alter its current bonus levels, however players may be required to meet minimum stat requirements for its special ability. This can make it difficult to find a high-level item that has the bonus they desire, but it does allow them to try for another option in the future without spending more resources.
The process of upgrading an item doesn't just increase the value of its bonuses, it can also give the item a tier boost and, consequently, it's guaranteed to gain a certain amount of bonus stats if upgraded in the future. This is a big reason why it's crucial to upgrade your gear as high as possible, because when you reach a level that upgrades will not make a huge difference it's pointless.
Sets
A set is a group of objects which share a common characteristic. They are commonly utilized in maths and can be represented as . Sets possess many properties, including the commutative and associative properties. These properties are important to understand how sets function and are applicable to real-world situations.
The items in a set can be upgraded for additional bonuses in the game. A set of armor pieces can improve the protection of the armour, while a weapon can provide an additional damage base. These additional stats will be applied following the base stat and before flats and percentages. These additional stats can be an excellent way to add value.
When an item is upgraded it will replace the previous base stat with the new one. For example an item that had 20 base damage now has 40 base damage. The base armor and upgrade requirements will remain. This is an excellent way to acquire an elite item for the price of.
Upgrades to unique items are very profitable, particularly when they feature an interesting modification. For instance, a unique belt that has +5 IAS could have a massive impact on the strength of a build especially in early hell. It's also a great option to enhance the value of a unique item by injecting a high or perfect roll.
Item Upgraders operate differently for unique, set and rare items. Usually, the item will be upgraded to a new type once it is upgraded to level 10. For instance, an upgrade of an item that is unique and has an extremely high defense roll will result in an elite armor item with the same type of base. This isn't a assurance, and in some instances, an upgrade might not alter the type of item.
It is recommended that players prioritise upgrading their BiS (Best in Slot) items first, then non-BiS items. This will give players an excellent foundation to build upon when they are leveling up. They can then focus on advancing tiers and gaining additional stats.
